Memory Reboot – Woman Portrait in Blue Colored Pencil

6 min · real-time drawing, no talking · watch on YouTube

Drawing a surreal woman portrait in profile with one blue colored pencil in my sketchbook – her hair turns into a network of circles and connections, like memories rebooting. No talking, just the drawing process with calm music.

Blue colored pencil portrait of a woman in profile whose hair becomes a network of circles and connections
Memory Reboot – Woman Portrait in Blue Colored Pencil — Marah Maitale Art

A surreal portrait from imagination: a woman in profile with calm, closed eyes and full lips, drawn entirely with one blue colored pencil. Instead of curls, her hair grows into a network of circles, hexagons and fine connecting lines with small dots floating around it – like memories rebooting one by one.

The face starts with soft, light lines for the profile, then the eye, nose and lips are drawn and the face is refined step by step. In the last part the hair appears: circle by circle, linked together until the whole head is filled with connections.

There is no voice-over, only the drawing process and calm music. More portraits? See the surreal woman portrait in pencil, or browse more sketchbook drawings.
