Marjolein Bastin Coloring Book Color Along: Little Chaffinch — Marah Maitale Art

This is the third and last part of one autumn page from the Posh Adult Coloring Book: Inspired by Nature by the Dutch nature artist Marjolein Bastin. After the fall leaves and the stone wall (part 1) and the grass and moss between the stones (part 2), the little chaffinch in front of the wall gets its colors.

Everything is colored with Faber-Castell Classic Colour colored pencils. The bird starts with soft greys for the shadows in the feathers, then the wing gets its dark and white bars, and the head and breast are built up in warm browns and orange. A few last dark accents around the eye and beak bring it to life. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube.

The coloring is sped up into about 17 minutes, with calm music and no talking. At the end you see the whole finished page.

The other parts of this page: part 1, the fall leaves and part 2, the grass between the stones. More colored pages are in the adult coloring pages collection.
