Marah Maitale ArtMillie Marotta Butterfly Coloring: Curious Creatures Live Session
Live coloring of a butterfly page from Millie Marotta's Curious Creatures (Mini Edition), with colored pencils from Faber-Castell Polychromos, Bruynzeel and Staedtler Noris: leaf-patterned wings in lime yellow, purple and pink among bright leaves. Real-time coloring with calm music, no talking.
In this short live session I color a butterfly from Millie Marotta's Curious Creatures, the small Mini Edition. Its wings are made of leaves and feathers, and I fill them with lime yellow, purple and pink, surrounded by bright green and pink leaves on a soft blue background.
I used colored pencils from different brands together – Faber-Castell Polychromos, Bruynzeel and Staedtler Noris – just to relax and enjoy the page. The stream was filmed upright, there is no voice-over, only calm music, so you can color along at your own pace.
