Tomislav Tomic Autumn Forest Coloring Page: Dromenvanger Color Along — Marah Maitale Art

This autumn forest comes from Dromenvanger (Dream Catcher), a Dutch coloring book for adults illustrated by Tomislav Tomic. A girl in a long white dress with a blue cloak lies asleep in a thick carpet of fallen leaves. Two deer come closer to look at her, a hare sits in the leaves, squirrels run along the branches above, and little birds, an owl and a woodpecker hide in the trees. Red toadstools grow on the trunks and between the leaves.

Everything is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. The tall tree trunks are built up in mossy greens and warm greys, the falling maple leaves glow in cadmium yellow and dark orange, and the pale blue sky behind the trees makes the autumn colors stand out. The leaves on the ground mix scarlet, magenta, mauve and green, so the forest floor feels rich and full.

This video shows the first half of a double-page forest scene. There is no voice-over, only calm music, so you can color along at your own pace with your own book or simply relax and watch. All pencil codes are listed in the video description on YouTube.
