Rita Berman Coloring Book Color Along: Little Bird Houses — Marah Maitale Art

This page, Little Bird's Houses, comes from Mein Frühlingsspaziergang: Ausmalen und durchatmen (My Spring Walk: color and breathe), a German coloring book for adults by Rita Berman. Three birdhouses hang among curling vines: a tall blue one in the middle, a red one with a green roof on the right and a round pink-and-yellow one on the left. Two little birds sit on a branch in front, a third flies past, and two butterflies keep them company.

The houses and birds are colored with Koh-I-Noor Polycolor colored pencils in bright, cheerful colors: cobalt blue, cherry red, pink and sky blue, with a lot of fresh greens for the leaves. The warm yellow background is made with soft pastels, which gives an even, glowing color without pencil lines. At the end, a white gel pen adds small dots and highlights on the houses, the birds and the wings, so the page really sparkles.

There is no voice-over, only calm music, so you can color along at your own pace with your own book or simply relax and watch. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube.

Another page from the same book is the tulip field with a windmill, and you can flip through the whole book before you buy it. More colored pages are in the adult coloring pages collection.
