Marjolein Bastin Coloring Book Color Along: Grass Between the Stones — Marah Maitale Art

This is the second part of one autumn page from the Posh Adult Coloring Book: Inspired by Nature by the Dutch nature artist Marjolein Bastin. In part 1 the stone wall and the fall leaves got their colors; now the narrow joints between the stones come to life with grass and soft green moss.

Everything is colored with Faber-Castell Classic Colour colored pencils. Light yellow-green goes in first, then darker greens in short, quick strokes, so the grass looks like it is really growing out of the cracks. A touch of brown and grey at the edges keeps it part of the old wall. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube.

The coloring is sped up into about 15 minutes, with calm music and no talking, so you can color along at your own pace with your own copy of the book or simply relax and watch.

Start with part 1, the fall leaves and the stone wall; the page is finished in part 3, the little chaffinch. More colored pages are in the adult coloring pages collection.
