Drawing a fairy girl in my sketchbook with graphite pencils – a fantasy portrait from imagination with big eyes, freckles, long wavy hair and delicate wings. No talking, just the drawing process with calm music.

A fairy portrait from imagination: a young girl with big, dreamy eyes, a sprinkle of freckles and long wavy hair with tiny flowers tucked into it, falling over an off-the-shoulder dress. Two delicate wings with soft patterns rise behind her, and a few small soft petals float around her in the air.
Everything is drawn in graphite on cream paper in an A5 Kangaro sketchbook, with a set of Koh-I-Noor graphite pencils from hard to soft and a kneaded eraser for the light parts. The face starts with light construction lines, then the eyes, lips and dress are outlined, and the curls are built up strand by strand before the final shading.
There is no voice-over, only the drawing process and calm music. More fairies? Watch the colored pencil fairy in my sketchbook, or browse more sketchbook drawings.
