Fox drawing in my sketchbook: a cozy autumn scene with a little fox inside a round frame, surrounded by mushrooms, falling leaves and butterflies, drawn from imagination with a mechanical pencil and a Faber-Castell Pitt charcoal pencil. Sped up, calm music, no talking.

This cozy autumn scene was drawn from imagination in my sketchbook. A small, fluffy fox sits on a rock in the middle of a big dark circle, while leaves and butterflies drift down around it. Outside the circle there are trees, mushrooms and plants, like a little window into a quiet forest in the fall.

It is a black and white drawing: the first lines are made with a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil, and the darker parts, like the round frame, the rock and the tree trunks, are built up with a Faber-Castell Pitt charcoal pencil. Blending stumps soften the shading, and a kneaded eraser lifts out the lighter areas in the fox's fur and the background.

The video is sped up, so you can see the whole drawing come together in about nine minutes. There is no voice-over, only calm music, so you can draw along in your own sketchbook or simply relax and watch.
