Kerby Rosanes Mythomorphia Coloring: The Faun in a Tree — Marah Maitale Art

The Faun is one of the mythical creatures in Mythomorphia: An Extreme Coloring and Search Challenge by Kerby Rosanes. A horned faun sits high in an old, twisting tree full of grapes, with small birds, squirrels, mushrooms, a playing card, an owl hiding in the trunk and a little fairy floating in a bubble – lots of tiny things to find.

The page is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. It starts with a smooth sunset background from yellow to pink and purple, then a blue sky at the top. The faun gets its horns and head first and then its fur in olive green and gold; after that come the brown tree trunk and branches, the green leaves, and finally the purple grapes, the birds and the fairy. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube.

The video is sped up and has no voice-over, only the coloring process and calm music. Want to see the whole book first? Watch the Mythomorphia flip through. More Kerby Rosanes: the Geomorphia Sunrise in Japan page. More colored pages are in the adult coloring pages collection.
