Kerby Rosanes Geomorphia Coloring: Sunrise in Japan — Marah Maitale Art

"Sunrise in Japan" is one of the most detailed pages in Geomorphia: An Extreme Coloring and Search Challenge by Kerby Rosanes. Two big koi fish rise out of the clouds around a pagoda, with strings of red paper lanterns, rocky mountains, cherry trees in bloom and a tiny figure with a parasol on a red bridge over a pond.

The page is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. It starts with a golden orange sunrise sky behind the lanterns, then the blue waves and clouds, the pagoda in red and dark green, the koi in yellow, turquoise and grey, warm brown mountains, the red bridge with pink blossoms and green trees, and finally the pond. White gel pen highlights finish the page. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube.

The video is sped up and has no voice-over, only the coloring process and calm music. Want to see the whole book first? Watch the Geomorphia flip through. More Kerby Rosanes: the Fragile World lemur leaf frogs. More colored pages are in the adult coloring pages collection.
