This page from Lost Ocean by Johanna Basford shows two whales, a big one and a small one, swimming together above a coral reef. Their backs are filled with tiny flowers, shells and leaves, and their bodies end in swirling waves – a page with lots of small details to color.

The page is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. It starts with fine pen details, then shades of blue on both whales and a pale pink belly. After that comes the coral reef in orange, yellow, green and pink, then the rainbow patterns inside the whales, a deep blue ocean background, and finally white bubbles with a gel pen. The pencil numbers are listed in the video description on YouTube. It was made for the Whales in September 2021 challenge.
