Lost Ocean Coloring Book Flip Through – Johanna Basford
Coloring book flip through of "Lost Ocean: An Inky Adventure and Coloring Book for Adults" by Johanna Basford: every page turned slowly – ocean mandalas, jellyfish, an octopus with a treasure chest, seashells, a seahorse and a starfish, an underwater city, mermaids, a school of fish and the Key to the Lost Ocean. Calm music, no talking.
Lost Ocean: An Inky Adventure and Coloring Book for Adults is Johanna Basford's third coloring book, after Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest. It takes you under the sea: round ocean mandalas, jellyfish with long trailing tentacles, an octopus guarding a treasure chest, pages full of seashells, a seahorse and a starfish, an underwater city with towers and domes, mermaids, a big school of fish and, at the end, the Key to the Lost Ocean with small details to find in the pictures. In this flip through every page is turned slowly, so you can see the line work up close.
Flip throughs are made to help you choose: how detailed are the drawings, how small are the spaces, and does the book match the way you like to color? Johanna Basford's ink drawings are fine and very detailed, with large open shapes next to tiny patterns – a good fit for sharp colored pencils. There is no voice-over, only the pages and calm music.
Three pages from this book are colored on the channel: the colorful fish, the seashells and the two whales. More books are in the coloring book flip through collection.
