Christmas Tree Coloring Page from Johanna Basford's Johanna's Christmas
Christmas coloring page in colored pencil: the Christmas tree from Johanna Basford's "Johanna's Christmas" coloring book, with glowing fairy lights, baubles and a shining star, a pile of wrapped presents, a little teddy bear and candles on a side table. Colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos, real time with calm Christmas music, no talking.
This page comes from Johanna's Christmas: A Festive Coloring Book for Adults by Johanna Basford, the artist behind Secret Garden and Enchanted Forest. It shows a cozy living room on Christmas Eve: a tall tree full of baubles and garlands with a star on top, a pile of wrapped presents and a little teddy bear underneath, three candles on a small side table and a string of beads hanging across the wall.
Everything is colored with Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils. The tree gets layers of leaf green and dark phthalo green, the fairy lights glow in yellow with soft halos around them, and the baubles shine in red, blue, gold and mauve. The presents are bright red, yellow, green and blue with ribbons on top, the floor is warm walnut brown, and a white gel pen adds the last little highlights. It was colored as a buddy color together with another coloring artist.
There is no voice-over, only calm Christmas music like Jingle Bells and Carol of the Bells, so you can color along or simply relax and watch. Want to see the rest of the book first? Take a look at the Johanna's Christmas flip through, or find more finished pages in the adult coloring pages and more festive art in the Christmas & New Year drawings.
