Escape to Christmas Past Coloring Book – Flip Through
Coloring book flip through of "Escape to Christmas Past: A Colouring Book Adventure" by Good Wives and Warriors, inspired by Dickens' A Christmas Carol: every page turned slowly – Scrooge and Marley, a snow globe, kittens in Christmas stockings, carol singers, a Christmas goose, a lighthouse, stars and Christmas puddings. Calm music, no talking.
"Escape to Christmas Past" is a Christmas coloring book published by Puffin and illustrated by Good Wives and Warriors – the creative partnership of Becky Bolton and Louise Chappell, founded after they graduated from the Glasgow School of Art. It is inspired by Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. The pages follow the story in detailed line art: Scrooge and Marley's shop, candles and a Victorian fireplace, theatre curtains, a snow globe, kittens in Christmas stockings, carol singers, a Christmas goose, a lighthouse and a sailing ship, starry patterns and a table full of Christmas puddings. Some pages are bold black-and-white designs, others are fine and very detailed.
Flip throughs are made to help you choose: how detailed are the drawings, how small are the spaces, and does the book match the way you like to color? There is no voice-over, only the pages and calm music.
