Joseph Catimbang coloring book flip through: every page of "Mythographic Color and Discover: Odyssey", an adult coloring book of mythic journeys and hidden objects: temples and forests, birds and a winged horse, playing cards and rabbits, crystals, angels, a dragon and a lion, sea creatures and enchanted ladies, plus the hidden-object key and the full-color back cover. Turned slowly so you can see the fine line work. Calm music, no talking.

Mythographic Color and Discover: Odyssey is an adult coloring book by Joseph Catimbang, a self-taught Filipino-American illustrator from Orange County, California, published by Castle Point Books. More than 40 illustrations take you on mythic journeys full of hidden objects. The pages are packed with fine line work: temples and waterfalls in the forest, birds and a winged horse, a scene with playing cards and rabbits, crystals and an angel, a dragon and a lion, sea creatures, deer and enchanted ladies, arches and an eagle. Every illustration hides small objects to find, and at the back of the book there is a key that shows where they are. In this flip through every page is turned slowly, so you can see the drawings up close.

Flip throughs are made to help you choose: how detailed are the drawings, how small are the spaces, and does the book match the way you like to color? Mythographic books are very detailed, so they suit fine-tipped colored pencils and patient coloring. There is no voice-over, only the pages and calm music.
